Many thanks to BattleClinic for hosting EVEMon, and to all of the contributors and testers that have helped us out.
Note: To those who have the auto-updater disabled, please re-enable it, in order to trigger the EVEMon update.

Any ideas? Trying to load the BattleClinic forums, but it's really slow.
You need to visit EVE Online from a secure connection. Try https://gate.eveonline.com and make sure the certificate is downloaded on your PC (the lock sign).

More specifically, what's required? Pretend I might know what you're talking about. I visit Eve-Gate and have no problems accessing the site?
Edit: I don't use Internet Explorer (nor the in-game browser, which uses IE HTML controls); its security track record is atrocious.
For now, I've just downgraded to the release candidate.
Release candidate has the same mechanic to connect to API. So downgrading won't do you any good. EVEMon now tries to connect to API via secure HTTP connection, so you have to assure that your machine can access eveonline through HTTPS.
@Frango Mint Yes EVEMon 1.3.4 needs .NET 4 to run. It's mentioned in the ChangeLog.

(I'm not trying to be rude, so please don't think I am.)
EVEMon-binaries-1.3.4-RC1.zip (Help -> About: 1.3.3.2496)
Installing (unpacking) that version works.
True RC1 doesn't contain the switch to HTTPS. What's troubling is that if you can connect to the forums, the API sections, account management etc. you shouldn't had any connection problems.
Please post your issue in EVEMon forum, attaching the trace.txt file (found in %APPDATA%\EVEMon folder) when you are running version 1.3.4, so you help you further.
My web browser works. It's a Firefox derivative. Its PKI functionality has nothing to do with EVEMon PKI functionality. My web browser has no issue at all browsing EVE Gate, the forums, the API sections, account management, or anything Eve-related.
What, specifically, is EVEMon looking for? "My machine" is a little too vague in this situation to diagnose the problem.

Could you, perhaps, be assuming that I use Internet Explorer? Does EVEMon rely on the Internet Explorer HTML controls built into Windows, just like the EVE in-game browser? For people who don't use Internet Explorer, that could be annoying, but as long as that's the case, I can figure out how to get it fixed.
Is that the case?
(I keep trying BattleClinic forums.. don't have the patience to wait for them to load most of the time) :)
As far as I know ingame browser is based on Chromium much as Google Chrome is. No, EVEMon doesn't rely on IE but sometimes Windows Update messes up with Internet connection settings, especially proxy (we have encountered many cases with that). So I would suggest to have a look at that (Control Panel > Internet Options).

The use of secure connection to retrieve any info from the API, has been requested by CCP [DevBlog] and from a point of time and forth, no 3rd party application will be able to connect to API through plain HTTP.
So you guys have to resolve any issues you have with accepting certificates on your machines.
From our side we will do whatever we can to provide a better mechanic when it comes to TrustFailure issues.

Originally by: Gal Sentor I have the same error with TrustFailure error. I have visited https://api.eveonline.com/server/ServerStatus.xml.aspx page with InternetExplorer, but IE says "Certificate Error" in the address bar. And EVEMon still does not work.
You must resolve the "Certificate Error" on your side.
What is confusing me, guys, is that all you who have TrustFailure issues, should had been resolved upon you login in the EO forums, as the login to the forums requires the same certificate as EVEMon looks up (it doesn't make sense to me).

This is because FF has the appropriate certificate installed but it isn't shared with other browsers (FF keeps them in different place as IE). EVEMon shares the same certificates as IE, so you have to resolve that with IE.
Try Control Panel > Internet Options, select Content Tab, Certificates. In "Trusted Root Certification Authorities", GeoTrust Global CA should be in list (as this is the authority that issued the eveonline certificate).
Also check the "Untrusted Publishers" doesn't contain GeoTrust Global CA.

The root certificates update from windows update is an optional and not a critical one, so it doesn't get installed automatically.

We have been informed by many users that they can't get any API updates. This is not caused by EVEMon nor by CCP's API server. It most likely be caused by the network provider.
To overcome this, a workaround is available here. Note that you should not use this ability as permanent solution, as CCP has announced the discontinue of API updates over non-SSL connection in due time.

The following reasons made us (The EVEMon Dev Team) to decide not to support the Cerebral Accelerator.
- Can't identify which pilot uses the cerebral accelerator via API. - Effect lasts only for 30 days. - Not enough info on how the Cerebral Accelerator affects attributes.

Thanks for the info. I found the specs of the Cerebral Accelerator too. I don't think though that if we are to support it, only limiting it on the Implant Calc will satisfy the EVEMon users.
I will re-discuss it with the rest of the EVEMon Dev Team though.

It must have perfect timing then as it worked instantly when I installed the old version again.
Please enlight me. How come mine works and yours don't?

Originally by: Dustpuppy Hi, since the last update to Incarna Evemon market tab doesnŠt work any longer.
Can you be more specific?
Originally by: Dustpuppy
I guess itŠs caused by a change in the type of data 32bit value -> 64 bit value of market orders, because other third party programs for trading donŠt work any longer.
If this is the case, download the latest snapshot version which contains the fix and overwrite the files in your EVEMon installation folder.
